For starters, the graphics have been given a nice shiny new makeover, with a more modern look to them. The theme is also really well done with a bright exciting colorful background and animating icons that add to the overall excitement of the game. The accompanying soundtrack also compliments the game and gives that feeling of arcade type fun. The game is set in a parallel universe, where there are crazy looking aliens that drop from above and land to fill the game grid. This game looks every bit as good as the original was, plus the potential to be so much more.
The slot is played on a cascading 7×7 grid, where winning combinations are shattered and new symbols drop in to replace them. 8 different symbols can occupy the grid and all these symbols are fun odd-looking aliens. The highest paying of these is the pink alien which pays out 750x your stake if you land a cluster of 15. To have a win you need a minimum of 5 symbols that connect to form a cluster. These connected clusters can be horizontal or vertical and must be next to each other. There is also an extra collection meter that has been added, there was only one in the original. The modifiers are also different now as they have been rearranged.
In this version of Reactoonz 2, there are 4 different wilds. They are, Electic, Energoon, Uncharged, and Gargantoon Wilds. These can substitute for other symbols, which can form winning combinations of symbols.
When a player gets two or more Electric Wilds which are alongside each other without a winning combination, the wild pair explosion kicks in. All symbols between the 2 wild symbols get destroyed by the explosion and get added to the Fluctometer and Quantumeter.

This feature allows for easier wins by forming winning combinations more easily. The win clusters fill up the meters that are on the side of the reels. The cascading feature allows for winning symbols to be removed, and replaced with new symbols. This allows for successive wins until there are no new winning clusters formed.
The Fluctometer is the meter that charges by the side of the reels. The lower paying symbols fluctuate and get removed. When this happens the Fluctometer will award a maximum of 3 Electric Wilds. These wilds are then a replacement for the regular symbols and can be destroyed. After a cascading win, Uncharged Wilds can appear, however, these won’t be active until a win occurs which will turn them into Electric Wilds.
This meter normally makes an appearance after the Fluctometer, and it calls forth the Energoon and Gargantoon Wilds. With this feature, normal symbols are charged by the Electric icons, with each symbol being equal to 1 charge. There are 4 levels available within the Quantumeter, and are as follows:
Reactoonz 2 has proven to be a great sequel to the original game. It has some interesting and fun new features that have been added. The cluster pays and cascading reels often give many smaller wins after each other. This release from Play ‘n Go is most definitely a winner and comes highly recommended. Volatility is still high like as in the original and it appears that the game uses a similar math model. So players of the original game will be happy to hear that, although the RTP has been lowered just a little bit and is now 96.2% on default settings.
