This is one reason why I’m a happy camper when checking out online slots that run on treasure-and-adventure theme combo like Treasure Wild slot by Pragmatic Play. I always take these games at face value and try to play them and see if they deliver.

For players who have tried out hundreds of online slots, it’s easy to find a game that’s engaging and unique and one that’s repetitive. Treasure Wild is an example of the latter with a standard and popular theme. At first glance, this reminds me of popular online slots like Treasure Room from Betsoft and Genie Jackpots by Blueprint Gaming. The premise is fairly straightforward- collect Treasure Chests and all things golden and you will start winning.
For its symbols, you will find an array of treasure-related paying items. As you spin the reels, you will find premium paying symbols such as the Necklaces, Bags of Rubies, Chalices, and Crowns as rare items. These expensive symbols also bring huge payouts on the screen that range from 3x up to 15x the bet for five-of-a-kind. You may also win big through the Wild Treasure Chests which replaces other paying symbols and can award you up to 15x your wager.
Aside from the payout and the ability to replace other symbols, the game’s Wild also works as a Collection symbol. This means that it collects all potential prizes from the cash symbols. So when you land several Wilds on the screen, you can earn these prizes collected many times.
Look for the Golden Crown Money symbols which carry random values that range from 0.50x up to 50x your total wager. If you manage to land at least one Wild together with the Money symbols, it collects all the values. For each Wild landing on the screen, the total amount of the Money symbols on display are awarded!
This game is all about gold and all things can deliver huge payouts. On the surface, I think that Treasure Wild is fun and highly entertaining. In the 3×5 grid with 20 paylines, the objective is to land at least three matching symbols. The game retains the standard set of buttons to help you out when playing the game. You can increase or decrease your bet by clicking the ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons found at the bottom-right portion of the screen.
What I find more interesting is the ‘Buy Free Spins’ button at the top-left portion of the screen. This seems like a growing trend among some game designers. It’s a nice touch on a game. Although it’s an option, I didn’t use this feature as it strips away the fun and excitement that come with random spins. In case you want a quick entry to the bonus, you can just click this button and you can enter the bonus immediately. The game’s Menu will display the cost of entry into the round.
The Golden Money symbols are the stars of this slot. They carry random values that range from 0.5x up to 50x your bet, and you collect the total value of all Money symbols multiplied by the collector Wilds displayed on the screen. More than the payouts, there is also a chance to trigger the Bonus Round when landing five Money symbols. This will instantly award you with nine Free Spins which I think is disappointing knowing how huge Pragmatic Play is as a software vendor.
Here’s another thing that really disappoints me about this bonus feature: you are not given the chance to re-trigger Free Spins during the bonus. Your only chance is to exit the round and return by landing five Money symbols.
I have played several Pragmatic Play slot machines and many of these combine impressive themes and visuals with lucrative payouts. Buffalo Kings Megaways and Chilli Heat Megaways come to mind thanks to their huge Free Spins count and Multipliers. However, this new production isn´t as good production from the company.
There are the occasional random adrenaline spikes especially when I am landing the Money symbols and when you get the wilds in the bonus game. Beyond these symbols and features, there’s nothing much to love about Treasure Wild. Should you play this? Yes, you can try a few spins. Should you expect a highly entertaining and lucrative experience? Well, you may want to try other Pragmatic slots.
